Churches
supported by IBCM must meet specific grant criteria:

Every recipient must be a Christian church or
ministry.
-
The church or ministry must be baptistic in
faith and order.
-
The church or ministry must be legal entity
or have direct ties to a legal ministry (e.g., a member church of the
International Baptist Convention).

The church or ministry must agree to us
grants or gifts from IBCM in ways that are consistent with the purpose
of the IBCM (as expressed in Article 4 of the Articles of
Incorporation). In turn it must agree not to distribute the funds to
organizations that are not explicitly approved by IBCM.

All recipients must agree to report the use
of funds on an annual basis. This may include onsite visits by IBCM
representatives.

Grants approve by Board at February 2007 meeting:
$3,000 to Latin America conference
$7,000 to IBC for church planting (John Merritt Memorial Fund) as follows:
 | $2,000 to Branislav Beocanin, church planter of new IBC church in
Goettingen, Germany. Pastor needs financial help due to loss of job.

 | $3,000 to Richard and Stephanie Blake with help for travel and other
expenses as IBC volunteers helping with church planting and training in
IBC churches.

 | $2,000 to IBC to support their pursuing a partnership in church
planting with the Baptist General Conference, formerly Swedish Baptist
Conference.
